Adding a Template

Hi,

I want to add a template for performers. The Organizer template could serve as the basis and I would customize it for the performer page.

My question is “How do I add this template to the menu?” I made a copy and edited it, but I’m not sure where it should reside in the directory so I can start using it on my site.
