Should the URL for the event be HTTPS? I haven’t been able to confirm but I think that the problem may be happening when I am visiting the event page from HTTP and then it redirects to HTTPS when it hits the cart page.
It seems to work just fine for me (even if I visit the event page via HTTP and end up on the cart page via HTTPS) – can you confirm there is still a problem or provide some more guidance on what I need to do to see this?
I didn’t have to do anything to recreate the issue except go to the event page as HTTP. I asked my host to have the event page automatically redirect to HTTPs and have not had any issues since. I am still curious as to whether or not that is a requirement on your end that could be added to the documentation or something specific to my installation.
Nope, there’s no particular requirement imposed by WooCommerce Tickets in that regard. When I visited I viewed your event page via HTTP – added items to the cart and was redirected so that the cart page was served via HTTPS and it all worked as expected.
It sounds though like you’ve got a workaround in place in any case which is awesome 🙂
Are there any other questions on this issue I can help with?
I’ll go ahead and close this thread in that case – but if we can help with anything else please don’t hesitate to create a new thread (or threads) as needed 🙂
