ParticipantHi, I have lost the +/- buttons for selecting the number of tickets to add to my cart when purchasing tickets through the Woocommerce tickets plugin. When I click on the ‘Add to cart’ button the /cart page appears as a blank white page.
I have tried reverting to the 2014 theme and this hasn’t changed anything. I recently installed a security certificate and also updated to the latest version of Woocommerce so perhaps one of these could be the cause?
Please can you assist me urgently with this as I have already launched a ticket campaign for an event that is around the corner and am losing potential sales…

MemberHi there, George! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry you’re hitting some trouble here, but I can help you with this.
First off, let’s deal with the blank cart page. We are working on a hotfix for this that should be released by the end of the day, though in the meantime, you can use this snippet in your theme’s functions.php file to overcome it:

In regards to the quantity controls, that’s actually related specifically to a change in WooCommerce. The WooTickets plugin inherits the control styles used by WooCommerce, and they seem to have changed the way they style those in the latest release. We’ve tested this on other non-ticket products and have confirmed the issue there as well, suggesting it is an issue globally with WooCommerce.
The good news here is that the change in quantity controls appears to be isolated to the Chrome browser. In fact, Chrome hides those controls by default, so it’s nothing that WooCommerce is doing wrong–rather that’s how Chrome handles number inputs.
If you want those controls to appear as they did before, you either need to revert to WooCommerce 2.3.1 or contact the WooCommerce forum for more support. Unfortunately, that is something we cannot fix on our end.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

ParticipantThanks a lot, Geoff!
It worked!
For interest’s sake, is there an easy way to revert to an older version of a plugin?

MemberAwesome, I’m glad that helps George! Thanks for following up and letting me know.
Heads up: we just released version 3.9.1 of WooTickets and it includes that fix. That means you can remove the snippet from your functions.php file and install the new version of the plugin. Definitely don’t need to have that fix in there twice. 🙂

Good question–yes, there are actually two methods for doing that and they’re covered nicely in this WordPress Codex article. If you download the previous version, then you can follow the steps outlined in the article.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but please feel free to start a new one if you have additional questions and we’d be happy to help.
Cheers!
