Add thumbnails to upcoming events List Widget not working in Google Chrome

To whom it may concern:

Per your instructions on the following link:

I added the snippet (defined in the above link) to my functions.php file. The code works fine on Safari and Firefox, but not on Google Chrome.

Here are two links that show what I am talking about:

The code appears to be exactly the same and the window dimensions are the same.

This problem is currently occurring on the homepage of my website: http://iembracewellness.com

Do you have any ideas of what might be causing this problem. Please get back to me at your earliest convenience.
