Add success message after submission

Hi!
I am wondering how to add a custom message for after a community event is submitted. I want it to notify the user of the approval process “Thank you for your submission, your event will be approved within 24 hours.”

I am having an issue with people repeating submissions because they go search for it right after and dont find it so they think it didnt work.

We actually have a custom plugin that can redirect to a different URL after event submission, so that you can create a custom submission page:
