    Hi,

Is there a way for me to add a participant on my event in the WP admin backend? Or perhaps is it programmatically possible?

Good evening Sigit and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

At this point, the best method to achieve this is to use a User switching plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-switching/

Basically that will allow you to perform the front-end process as that other user.
Better yet, if you are only using RSVP tickets you can do so without that plugin. Simply head over to the event and use the ticket form (entering the attendees email).

As a side note, we had an extension that allowed to edit attendee info from the back end (not add it). The downside is that it is broken unless you are using Event Tickets 4.5.7 and Event Tickets Plus 4.5.6

With that in mind, we are in the process of fixing it for compatibility with the most recent version of our plugins.

You will be informed as soon as it is.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Hi Geoff, thanks a lot for the awesome explanation!

Does the team have any plan on releasing such feature? I found some people in the forum that have been requesting it too.

    Good evening Sigit,

Thank you for taking the time to write back.

In case you are interested, here is the  plugin I talked to you about (which still works with the older versions of Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus): https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-can-admin-updatechange-ticket-information-for-anonymous-customer/#post-1357096

Does the team have any plan on releasing such feature?

The short answer is that we are for sure going to fix attende data edition from the backend for starters.

Once that is done, adding attendees straight from the backend is more likely to be added to RSVP first. This is because of the low impact it has.

For WooCommerce or EDD tickets however, this can be slightly trickier in terms of other aspects such as stock count, payment or free, customer creation, etc…

As you can imagine , we get a ton of feature requests. We are really appreciative of our customers providing us with amazing ideas.

The only downside is that prioritize can be challenging at times.
This is why we have a User Voice forum.

    Have an awesome holiday season!

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
