Add recent events to the rss feed

Hi guys

I’m looking to add previous events to my Mailchimp RSS email (so people can go back and get updated results from the sports event), and had tried the RSS:RECENT tag, which seemed to work, but only displayed one event (not 5). I also tried RSS:RECENT5 which Mailchimp suggested, but no luck.

It looks as if I have the RSS feed set up to display 10 events, it will display 9 events + 1 recent event.

I’m looking to have an email that displays next 10 events, and the previous 5 events.

Do you have a suggestion of how I might achieve this?

Ok, I’ll take another approach…

Is there an RSS feed for events that displays previous events? so instead of a feed showing future events, we can show previous events?

Basically, what happens is that WordPress handles the feed for the tribe_events custom post type. We just hook into it, I believe with the code at https://github.com/moderntribe/the-events-calendar/blob/4.3.2/src/Tribe/Rewrite.php#L126

I can’t advise how/if you might be able to generate a feed of Past Events, but I hope this clarifies how things work.
