After the recent update to EC 3.0.3 ECP 3.0.5 and WT 3.0.2, the 3rd party attendees plugin provided by BuzzWebMedia stopped working.
I realise that ModernTribe can not be held responsible for 3rd party plugins, while BuzzWebMedia can not be expected to provide support for a free extension.
This thread serves more as a notice for other people using J-P’s extension.
I have since downgraded to WooTickets 3.0.1 and it is working again. When WooTickets do get to add his feature, it would be good to wrap it in conditional tag, to only show if and when there are tickets in the cart.
Currently I am selling other products as well, and this confuses a buyer who did not purchase any tickets.Link to the previous thread: https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/adding-extra-names-when-multiple-tickets-are-purchased/#post-45170

August 7, 2013 at 12:11 am #59234J-PParticipantThis highlights the difficulty of creating our own hacks to add a feature that is essential to selling multiple tickets and many assumed was part of the plugin as described when purchasing.
If Schalk had installed this on a client site and they had updated the plugin themselves then right now he would be dealing with an upset client trying to explain that they should just ignore any update messages in the future. At this point in time, I would not use WooTickets on a client site where they are taking multiple bookings per purchaser.
Is there any chance that this will be added to WooTickets sooner than later?

Right now a decision still has to be reached on whether a future release will include this or how exactly it will function: WooCommerce Tickets in its current form is – and we’ve always tried to emphasize and be open about this – a simple ticketing solution rather than a full featured event management tool per se.
Again, just to emphasize, it is something that’s under consideration and we’ll do our best to inform you as things progress 🙂
