Add Event List to content of existing page

Is there a current method?

I am aware of inserting widget to a page, this is limiting because of scant event detail

Hi – great question – however there is no official means of doing this. Using widgets is a great idea (though the presentation / lack of detail may initially seem like a problem, do remember you can customize those elements) and you can also investigate other approaches, like utilizing tribe_get_view() to load what you want – but bear in mind you would also need to set up appropriate supporting Javascript and CSS resources.
