Add event and add to google calendar at same time

I would like to know if it is possible (and if it is, how to do this) to add something on the add new event page that will allow the user to create an event and automatically export it to google calendar.

Hi, Traeci.

By default, each event’s single event page has iCal export and .ics file download links, like https://cl.ly/3a162j423C1C (from http://wpshindig.com/event/codeforcuritiba-hack-night/2017-06-28/).

If you just add the “ical=1” query parameter to the single event URL–like this: http://wpshindig.com/event/codeforcuritiba-hack-night/2017-06-28/?ical=1–then that would download the .ics file.

I’m not exactly sure how you might best implement this, but hopefully this information points you in the right direction.
