Add attendee ticket info to organiser email (without Events Calendar)

Hi,

Just following up on the additional plugin mentioned in this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/attendee-info-not-showing-up-in-tickets-email-after-update-to-version-4-2-7/

That adds in the attendee info meta to the Tickets email that the customer receives, and it will add it to the ‘Organiser’ email. The organiser is a field in Events Calendar though, and my Events are using my own CPT.

Basically, I want the site/shop owner to get the attendee meta info included in the notification email when someone buys tickets (so they know which size T-shirts etc to send) without having to go into the Attendees list on the site to look it up every time.

Is that possible?

Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums! I hope you’ve been enjoying Event Tickets and Event Ticket Plus so far. 🙂

I’m afraid that getting the additional attendee meta info included in the notification email isn’t a feature right out of the box and would require custom development to make it happen. While I don’t have a workaround available, “tickets” are really just a post type within WordPress so all of the meta-related functions like get_post_meta()can be used for custom coding “Custom fields” functionality using this as a reference:
