ParticipantHello,
I have an issue with the following :
When I am creating an event (inside WordPress admin) and I would like to add a hyperlink to a word in the text area, I fill in all link datas and then I click on “Add a link”. But when I click on it, I am redirected to the posts list inside WordPress. It’s really weird !!!Thanks inadvance for the support !

ParticipantHi Pierre, it sound like you’ve got a conflict with another plugin or an issue with your theme. I would suggest deactivating all other plugins to see if this helps first. Then, try reverting to another theme to rule out whether or not it’s a theme conflict.
Let me know what you find.

ParticipantHi Jonah,
Oh the site is already online with a Themify theme : hellecat.nl ! It will be difficult for me to rule out a new theme.
And this is the plugin list :
– Add New Default Avatar,
– Advanced Post Manager,
– Advanced Post Manager Demo -not activated,
– Akismet,
– Contact Form 7,
– Custom Login,
– Events Calendar PRO,
– Exclude Pages from Navigation,
– Facebook Dashboard Widget,
– FeedBurner FeedSmith,
– Fix Rss Feeds,
– Google Analytics Dashboard,
– Google Analytics for WordPress,
– Google Site Verification Plugin,
– Google XML Sitemaps,
– Hide Update Reminder,
– Jetpack by WordPress.com,
– MailChimp Widget,
– Members,
– Profile Builder,
– Reveal IDs,
– Shashin,
– Speedy Page Redirect,
– Status Updater,
– Subscribe To Comments,
– The Events Calendar,
– Toppa Plugins Libraries for WordPress,
– User Switching,
– WordPress Database Backup,
– WordPress Popup Scheduler,
– WPMS Sidebar Login Widget,
– WPtouch.I have deactivated all plugins and it’s the same story !

ParticipantHi Pierre, it’s likely some conflict with your theme then. I would suggest setting up a staging version of the site so you can test this out if you don’t want to mess with the live site. Try switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if this fixes your issue. If it does, then you’ll want to contact the theme author to have them work on a fix.
Other than that, I assume you’ve installed the latest version (2.0.4) of our plugin?

ParticipantHi Jonah !
Yes 2.0.4 is installed ! But I cannot understand why the theme could be a problem. Because this happens inside the WordPress admin !
Thanks for your support !

MemberPierre: are you possibly in a position where you can test reverting to the 2011 theme, just to confirm whether or not the issue persists?

ParticipantHi Rob,
Not really unfortunately ! The site is running with a lot of options. For instance yesterday, after I reactivated all plugins, I had to recheck many options which were disabled !

MemberOh, I see. Thanks for confirming. What about a test environment somewhere? Even if it’s not the exact same site, someplace where you can recreate what’s going on? That’s about all we can do in terms of next steps to try and assist, unfortunately.

ParticipantI can do that, but I’m stuck with the License key because my test environment is no connected to this site !

MemberHey Pierre. No problem. You actually don’t need the key for the plugin to function. Check out this piece I put together addressing the very point you’ve asked about: https://theeventscalendar.com/events-calendar-pro-license-keys-when-you-need-them-when-you-dont/. Hope that helps! Let me know if it doesn’t.
