Add a filter that shows only members who have upcoming events

Hello, taking a shot here even though I know it relates to other plugins so I apologize in advance. Anything helps!

Currently using

– Buddypress
– Geo My Wp
– Community Events / Events Cal

Idea behind the site is you search for a coach within your area that relates to your needs. Coaches also have events that they all add themselves. I would like to create an additional checkbox labeled “Coaches with Upcoming Events” that would filter out all coached with events.

I would love to help you with this. However, I am actually seeing that box on your site, and seeing that it filters out a number of your coaches. Did you possibly get this working in the past couple hours? Is it working how you expect now? If not what can I do to help?

I apologize I actually had to revert back to the original method using Events Manager for the time being because my client is having an event sign-up period right now. Currently it is showing the checkbox because I have it as an option in the coaches profile to manually checkoff they have an upcoming event. Ideally not how we would want it because most of the time they would forget to uncheck it once the event is over.

Essentially I would like it to work just like it is shown currently but instead have the coaches filter automatically who have events.

Thanks for getting back Craig. I was thinking that was the most customized calendar I had seen in a while, this explains it. 🙂 It looks great by the way!

This would certainly be possible. It will require some custom PHP coding on your part but I can definitely help you get the list of organizers. I just wrote this function:

That will get you a list of organizers that have upcoming events. From there you can insert that list into any page you need. Does that seem like it does what you want?
