Add a feature event into widget

I there a way to add a feature event from my list of events and add it in a widget? Ideally this will include a larger version of the event image than the “events list” widget that is currently on offer. That shows small photo and little details. I’m after a bigger brother of that little widget

Is there some sort of plugin addon that can do this or does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out here – unfortunately, at this time there is no way to do this within the plugin itself. I also do not know of any plugins out there that enable this sort of functionality specifically.

This functionality is possible with some extensive code customization, but that is outside the scope of the support we can provide and so if you’re not familiar with writing custom code, you would have to hire a developer for assistance 🙁

Any plans to implement this? I need it as well and it seems to be a no brainer for this plugin. I imagine many people would want to feature an event in some way with a shortcode or widget.
