Scott
MemberWhen I deactivate PRO, the list of upcoming events on our home page come back.
Any idea why PRO is causing this to happen?
Here is a link to the screenshot.

ParticipantHey Scott,
I can’t see the screenshot you posted but off the bat I’m wondering what sort of customizations, particularly related to widgets, you’ve done with the plugin? Is http://shamrockfinancial.com/ your webite?
February 24, 2012 at 8:55 am #15629Scott
MemberYes, that is my client’s site.
How can I help you help me?

MemberWould it help if I disable PRO so you can see the upcoming events on the home page?

ParticipantIf you could email WP admin and FTP access to jonah [at] tri [dot] be I can take a closer look. Is it ok if I disable the plugin myself?

MemberDone – and yes, you can disable PRO so you can see the upcoming events appear on the home page.
I do not know if activating PRO removed the events from the backend of wordpress or just the display of them on the home page.
TY for your prompt attention to this.

ParticipantHi Scott, I don’t see the PRO plugin in your list of plugins. Looks like you don’t have it installed?
February 24, 2012 at 10:53 am #15636Scott
MemberIt is in the list. It is the 7th from the top. I’m looking at it right now!!

ParticipantI can’t even see the screenshots you’re posting: http://cl.ly/1m1k0E1s0Z1b1D15411k – perhaps there are problems on the server? I can’t effectively troubleshoot this until I see the plugin in the list and I’m not sure why I can’t see it but I can’t help you this until I do.

MemberI don’t understand why I see plugin updates for some plugins in your screenshot that I don’t see (verified by the screenshot I just uploaded) – such as the “Find and Replace” and “AddToAny” plugins. Strange. Same login!

MemberThere are no problems on the server. Could it be that you have this website listed in your hosts file because you were assisting me before and I pointed you to the development site?
Check to see if my client’s site is in your hosts file and if it is (which I’m thinking it is) then please remove it and view the site.
That would explain this problem (and why your plugin list is different and shows plugins that need to be updated that already are.

ParticipantAhhh, that was it. Ok now I’m seeing the plugin and the screenshots. The reason the upcoming events are only displaying when you have PRO deactivated is because the widget you are using in the non-PRO list widget and as soon as you activate PRO it deactivates the non-PRO widget so you just add the Events List Advanced Widget into that area for it to display with the PRO plugin activated.
