I’ve been enjoying your plugin and glad we made the switch to it, however we are receiving some spam event submissions. Users do need to be logged in to submit, but that removes the reCapture from the form, resulting in some spam even submissions from spammy fake users sneaking through registration.

So, is there any way to keep the reCapture active for logged in users?

Thanks for any help with this,

    Patrick

    Hi Patrick.

Do you know which users’ accounts are creating the spam events? If yes, do you know how/why they’re doing it?

There’s a ‘tribe_community_events_show_captcha’ filter that you can force reCAPTCHA to always show true.

    Here it is:

Let me know how it goes for you.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
