I’m trying to write a plugin to augment TEC and I need to be able to get all the category slugs for a given installation of TEC and write them to an array. I’m a bit lost on how to grab this kind of data from someone else’s plugin. Any takers?

Since I know you’re helping out here on the forums, if you need anything specific to the code email Rob directly and he can try to get it to you.
Thanks!

June 20, 2012 at 2:10 am #20877Joyce GraceMemberHi Andy, is that similar to this tutorial we have? https://theeventscalendar.com/coloring-your-category-events/
June 20, 2012 at 9:11 am #20910Andy FragenModeratorHi Joyce. It’s exactly like the tutorial. What I’m trying to do is make it very simple. As I’m new to this plugin writing stuff there will be lots of room for improvement once I get something functional. If you want to see how the core of it works look at the category-colors.php file. You can see a version of it working at http://drfragen.com/pub/category-colors.php
