    I am using Event Calendar Pro to show my events in a calendar (and hope to add selling tickets soon).

    I also use VIEWS and CRED from the TOOLSET plugin to help create other ways to view events and a simplified way for my Admins to enter event information.

    The problem I have run into is that I can’t seem to access the Event Calendar fields through Views and CRED. In particular, the start and end date fields are problematic – you seem to store your data as a string, where Toolset stores as a numeric … so that is confounding my attempts to use a CRED form to update an event date.

    I’m not sure how to go about figuring out how to fix this issue… I would really like to keep using both plugins – but I need to figure out a way to get them to play better together.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hi Elise,

    Thanks for using our plugins. I can try to help here.

    We do not have much experience with VIEWS and CRED from the TOOLSET plugin.

    Is there a way in the VIEWS and CRED from the TOOLSET plugin to store dates as a string? Why does it have to be numeric?

    Is there a way to use string to time function in php: strtotime();

    That would enable you to store it as a number then.

    That is about all we would have to help on this, but I can try to answer specific questions to help out more.

    Thanks
