Accessibility for "View as" option

Hello! We are helping a client with an accessibility project on their site. One item that was flagged is the “view as” control in the Events Calendar as needing a screen-reader friendly name. We were unable to find any solution that did not require JavaScript. Are there any known solutions?

Thanks for reaching out.

I’m not familiar with any workarounds myself, but have contacted an accessibility expert on our development team for some insight here.
