ParticipantI am running the pro version and have purchased the developer’s license (but have not yet installed that version). One of our clients with the pro version installed is very hands-on and wants to access the pro support forums… how do I give her access?

MemberHello crharrison,
Thanks for contacting us and thanks for your support!
The license ensures automatic updates on the installed plugin and forum support for the purchaser. There is only one forum account per purchase.
If your client would like personal access, the only way is by purchasing a personal license.
Sorry if there was any confusion on this. We reread some of our lit and are actually updating the FAQs.
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!
Cheers!

MemberIf you go to https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/license-keys/ you will be able to disconnect her site from your license. She will then be able to add her purchased license in her Event Settings > License page.
Once she has an account and her license in place, she will have the exact same support that you have now.
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!

MemberHello crharrison,
This is interesting; I’m not sure we thought of this configuration! (or perhaps we have, I’m still relatively new here)
For multisites, the license key is under the Super Admin > Network > Tools menu. She won’t have a license field in the typical spot.
She’ll be able to post to the forums without entering the license though. She just needed to purchase a support account ultimately.
As long as the plugin is licensed from either account, the auto-updater will still work.
Feel free to leave your license in place for the entire multisite as I’m sure you have other clients on the network. She can use her purchased support account without linking her account, and everything should work out fine.
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!
Cheers!

MemberHappy it worked out!
We’d love it if you would leave us a review and let people know how much you like the plugin! http://m.tri.be/jt
I’ll go ahead and close this thread. Let us know if we can help with anything else.
