Ability to Select What Events Display on Calendar

Client wants to be able to choose which events show in the calendar, instead of all by default.
Currently all events show in the calendar. I think a box that says “Do not display in calendar view” would be sufficient.

Client wants to be able to choose which events show in the calendar, instead of all by default.

There are a couple of ways to achieve this:

1. Display only certain event categories in all views. You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top) after tweaking it: https://gist.github.com/jentheo/676f4c627246db43ad36a3d484ebb91e
