GuestHello,
I have a few questions for you, hope you can help 🙂
1.
My client arranges course events for junior doctors to attend at various venue’s which incur a fee.Their current website takes payment via WooCommerce and a payment gateway. They would like the calendar functionality which The Events Calendar provides and also be able to take payment for the events they have arranged, via WooCommerce.
Am i right in assuming that The Events Calendar (free) and Event Tickets Plus would be sufficient?
2.
I am working on a development website on a sub-domain and would eventually transfer this over to their live website:
dev.domain.com >> http://www.domain.com
Only the sub-domain would be changing. Can I transfer a single licence from the development site to their live website when I am ready?
3.
The live website is set up as a multisite network. Will a single licence work on a single website within the multisite network?4.
In the video on your Event Tickets Plus page, WooCommerce is selected when creating the ticket. On the front end, at checkout, a check payment seems to be the only payment method.Am I right in assuming WooCommerce Payment Gateways can also be used?
Apologies if that’s an obvious question but I have to ask, as the video only shows cheque payment!
5.
Last one, honest!I am currently trying out The Events Calendar freebie version and I notice Show Google Map is an option under LOCATION.
I understand the pin on the map is automatically determined with the venue address but occasionally the accuracy of the pin can be slightly out.
Can the pin be manually positioned by admins, if the precise google coordinates are known?
Sorry for all those questions! Thanks in advance for any help :o)
Kind regards,
Paul.

MemberHi Paul,
Thanks for considering The Events Calendar and our other plugins 🙂
1) Yes, a combination of the following plugins ought to fit your needs (re selling tickets to events):
2) You can indeed disconnect licenses from one domain then plug them into another. Generally speaking, though, there’s no need to activate your license for test/dev sites.
3) Single site licenses currently do work within multisite networks.
We encourage the use of a multisite licenses, particularly where lots of the sites on the network make use of our plugins, but this isn’t strictly required and if you’re only going to be using the plugin on one of those sites, a single site license is just fine!
4) Yes – the whole checkout process is in the hands of WooCommerce and at the stage we don’t interfere whatsoever.
That means you are free to use whichever payment gateway(s) you prefer. The setup in our video just happened to be configured to use check payments.
5) Precise positioning (of map pins) is indeed possible, but requires Events Calendar PRO.
I hope that helps!
