    The calendar plugin is conflicting with “Download Manager”. http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/. I deactivated the Download Manager and Event calendar menu showed up on a left-side admin menu. Otherwise, the Event plugin is gone from the admin menu.

    Is there work-around for this? I would love to use both plugins.

    Download Manager is, I’m afraid, known to have compatibility issues with our plugins – I’m not aware of any workarounds at this point.

    I found a walk around. The download manager and event calendar have an exactly same “sort order” value – 6. The solution was to delete all “,6” on functions.php in Download Manager plugin directory.
