_postmeta table clean up?

    Are the related entries in the **_postmeta table deleted after events are deleted? I just discovered after removing recurring events from last year totaling more than 600 individual events that there are now 4900+ rows in that table. It just seems a little large for what amounts to 40 pages, 0 posts and 200 events. Is that large? Thoughts?

    Never mind… Apparently, much like my husband, I don’t know how to take out the trash. 😉
