    I’ve encountered an high cpu usage and slow mysql queries ( 5 sec ) when Caledar Events widget was active on my site.

    The log show this specific query that disappearing when deactivate calendar widget ( I’ve to reboot my server because it become unresponsive when more users are connected at the same time ). I really like the widget, but have to deactivate it ;(

    Are there some upcoming fix?

    Hi Antonio, can you give an indication of how many events are on your system and approximately how many might be recurring?

    Are you also able to use caching, including query caching at MySQL level, to help mitigate this?
