ParticipantHi,
The topics about the 404’s was suddenly closed but the problem is not fixed yet, atleast not for us.
What is the solution for the 404 page’s on the community events pages? We’re using dutch translations.Hope you can still help since we have to use the old version at the moment.

ParticipantHi,
i think also, that the 404-problem is not fixed yet – the solution is only a workaround for this problem.
May be Dutch users have to use something like “voeg toe” or “voeg_toe” and “evenement” or “evenementen”:
../evenementen/community/voeg_toe-

ParticipantHey Dirk,
I’m sorry you’re still having issues here – can you share a link directly to the thread you referenced here?
As for a problem with 404 links and translations – if you are just using a Dutch translation for The Events Calendar itself (or any add-ons for it), then it should work fine. However, if you are using a third-party translation plugin to change the actual URL of the Community Events /add page, then this is unfortunately not something we can guarantee support for.
Can you clarify exactly what your problem is? Also, what other plugins are active on your site?
Thank you!

ParticipantHi George,
The link the the closed topic is: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/error-404-when-adding-an-event/
In that topic we also posted system information with our running plugins.
We’re not using a third party translation plugin. The problem is that in version 3.11 the community events page for adding events and the list of addes events directs to 404 page.
Hope you can help me, perhaps with information from the thread mentioned above.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Dirk,
Thanks for sharing that link. I’m curious, just to be certain, have you tried the steps that Brook recommended on August 6th in this reply? → https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/error-404-when-adding-an-event/page/2/#dl_post-994025
Those seem to have helped all the people in that thread, at least for now until we got a better fix released.
Let me know if the steps he recommends there help you at all, or if issues persist.
Thank you!

ParticipantHi George,
We patched it by redirecting the old english urls (/add and /list) to the new 3.11 translated urls. We did it this way since many users have the link stored somewhere for quick reference and the link is on many pages on the website. This seems to work but is not a real fix 😉
Thank you for the quick responses tho!
Yours sincerely,
