    Hello,

Sorry for the issues after the update. I can help troubleshoot this with you.

Can you please follow our 404 Error Guide:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/troubleshooting-404-errors/

Let me know if that resolves it or we can go from there to troubleshoot this and get it resolved.

    Thanks

Hi sorry for the issues you are having. I took a look at your site and did not change anything, but I noticed you have two event plugins.

Please disable the other event plugin having two plugins will create conflicts.

You also have many pages with events in the name. You need to delete all those pages as that will also create conflicts.

Our plugin the Events Calendar Creates its own pages you do not need to create them in the Page Section.

Let me know once that other plugin is off and the pages with events in their name are deleted or set to draft and we can go from there.

    Thanks

Hello, sorry but the 2 pluggins for event is one in the themplate and one is your. And before update that was not a problem.
Also the pages with events in the name before update was not a problem.
I’ve payd for this pluggin because i thought it was great, but now i’m losing a lot of money from my customer that do not see theyr events on my site.
Can you please recheck? And please note. All pluggin and thempalte was not a problem before the update.
If you can not solve the problem please tell me where i can download the event calendar 3.8 so i can reinstal that one that gaves no errore, i can’t find anymore on the internet now.
    Thank you

Sorry for the issues you are having.

I looked again and you have a page called Eventi that can be the cause of it.

Having two event plugins is could be the cause of this as well we are unable to resolve it with both there.

    Downgrade
You can download 3.8 core here:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/developers/

Then you can go to your account on Tri.be then to

Account Central > Downloads and you can get 3.8 from the dropdown there for Pro.

You will have to deactivate and delete the current Events Calendar Plugins and then upload the zip files to down grade.

No way. also reinstalling 3.8 gave 404 errore.
Again, the other pluggin and page called EVENti CAN NOT BE A PROBLEM because untile you updated the events page worked fine.
No, really, it’s a verry big problem, i need you to fix it please.

all the rest of pluggin, as singolar events and maps in events, works fine..
So, can you just tell me a shortcode or something to pur the /events view in other page?
The one with map and events… thank you

    Thanks for removing those pages.

Unfortunately, we do not have a shortcode so that is not a solution.

    Change Events Slug
One solution maybe to change the events slug

Go to your site admin then to

Events > Settings > General Tab

Then change this field to something else:

    Events URL slug

Save that, then resave your permalinks and visit your site with that new slug on the end and see if that resolves it.

If that does not work please follow the below steps

    Testing for Conflcits
I think you need to follow our testing for conflicts guide. I still believe that it is an issue with having two different events plugins, but you could be correct that is not the issue. This guide will find out if that is the issue or the issue is with your theme or another plugin.

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/testing-for-conflicts/

Unfortunately, no other users are reporting this issue so it is something unique on your site and that guide will help us find that out.

I am not able to do this test with the account you gave us. Nor can we do all these tests on your site per our terms of service that is still your responsibility.

This is a critical step in finding and solving this problem so please let me know what you find out.

    Still can’t find the solution.
Ovviusly i had already tried to change the URL.
And, again, the other pluggin for event is in the themplate, i can not remove and again, before update was not a problem.
Now. Also re-uploading the 3.8 gaves 404 error.. i’m losing a lot of money from my client for this problem and i’ve bouth 3 pluggin from you… so i think i deserve the better help for the money i payd.
So, again, please check what’s the problem because i’ve already tryed everithing you suggest.
404 is an error of content? What does the pluggin con not find? A page in ftp or what?
Also with 3.8 now can not find anything.

    Thank you

Sorry for the issues you are having still.

I apologize if my suggestions seem obvious, but I have to cover all steps to make sure everything is covered.

I have looked at your site, but the account is only an Editor and cannot do anything that is required to change themes or plugins so there is no way to find a solution with that account.

Also, it is fundamental at this point to be able to change themes and turn off plugins to test to see where the conflict is. It is impossible to find the solution without doing this step.

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/testing-for-conflicts/

No one else is reporting this issue so that leaves something unique about your site, either the hosting, the theme, custom coding, or another plugin is causing the issue.

Our testing for conflicts guide helps find the problem without it there is no way to know where to look for a solution as we do not even know the source of the problem .

If you cannot test on a live site are you able to create a clone of the site so it can be tested there?

The only other area we have no looked at besides the testing for conflicts guide is the htaccess file and seeing if something there is causing a conflict.

So, please follow the steps for the Testing for Conflicts guide and let us know what you find out or see if you can create a clone of your site and we can run every test there to figure this out.

Ok thanks. I took at your site.

I looked through the site and changed the default template for the Events Calendar to use the Page Template and this link now works:

    http://tilllate.it/events/

    Does it work for you?

I noticed you are loading Google Maps Loads Twice and the W3 minification of the Events Calendar Scripts is causing an issue.

The script is in the main.js for the Google Maps. I do not know how to remove that from your theme, the developer of that may know.

As for W3 you may have to tweak your settings to get it to work correctly.

Ok, now seems work with this settings, just a question, i do not see anymore the “read all” for the events name in the month view..
I can set for example 5 events.. and all the other.. how can i see?
I think there was a button for READ ALL but maybe i’ve made something wrong changing something in the design…. or there wasn’t?
