Using Events Calendar Pro 3.9
In following events for campaigns and elections at http://halfwaytoconcord.com I have a situations where the original Organizer name is
Candidate-Name for Assembly
Now that person is running for higher office.
I created a new organizer
candidate-name for State Senate
Both have same contact details and URL and e-mail.
Using Yoast WP SEO Premium, there is an opportunity to redirect pages and posts to another using 301.
I’d like to redirect the first (Candidate-Name for Assembly) to the second (candidate-name for State Senate) want ing to account for some duplication.
But, the Yoast Plugin fields, which appear in event posts do not appear in the organizer pages.
Is this a Yoast thing or something that Tribe can fix in some update to account for SEO noodling like this?

Good question. I think the best way to handle redirects from the calendar-perspective would be to rename the original organizer name and slug, then either create a redirect in your .htaccess file (here’s a tool for that) or use something like the Redirection plugin. I think either of those ways will give you the ability to redirect specific URLs.
