3.5 Upgrade: Lost Control Of Day View Templates

Hi Tribe,

I tested out upgrading to Pro 3.5 today on my local before pushing the update to our site. Unfortunately I noticed that I lost control of the Day View theme templates I had made. In other words, after updating to 3.5 my customized files in the /my-theme/tribe-events/pro/day/ directory stopped having an effect. I could edit them and nothing would change when I viewed a day view, such as at /events/2014-04-01/.

I did discover that editing /tribe-events/list/loop.php did have an effect on the page. Not sure why it would be using that template file for day views instead of the /pro/day directory.

Can you confirm that the Day View templates are still working in 3.5 as they are listed here in your documentation? https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/#viewstemplates

If not, I’ll wait for a fix to update, as my Dav View theme templates are pretty customized and need to be used for our site. If so, do you have any idea why the templates would no longer be working for me now in 3.5?
