I recently moved my website to a new server to keep up with the server demand. While speed and response time increased considerably for my site overall, the load time for The Events Calendar is still at 3-4 seconds. Any thoughts on correcting this?

The Events Calendar can handle large numbers of events and work well even in very high traffic websites. However, it is important to understand that performance is dependent on many environmental factors that the plugin itself is often unable to manage automatically.

Thanks. That did the trick. Caching the calendar cut my load time in half – I guess the next upgrade will have to put emphasis on more power!
