    Headline says it all.
It was working fine until I updated to 3.1 .
Now no events are appearing in the newsfeed and only November is working. Sometimes two events will appear in Dec. but I cannot explain why that is. (I’ve tried the twenty-twelve and have tried disabling all plug-ins. I’m currently deleting all, or most, old expired events.). I wish someone could help with this.
    Thanks.

When I go to check in December for events, then click back to November, there are only two events then showing in November.

Hi Christopher – that does seem change. Can I ask you to post your System Information as shown in the Events → Help admin screen here? Could you also run through those basic troubleshooting steps a second time (deactivating all other plugins and reverting to a default theme) then post the System Information at that point?

    Thanks!

I disabled all other plugins and changed themes, but I don’t see an admin screen under Events -> Help.

It looks like it’s the enhanced search box plugin … at least for now .. continuing to activate plugins.

I wonder if that will get my events back into my newsfeed also.

Not sure about the feed items. .. calendar seems to work otherwise, but would certainly like the items in the feed! Thanks! See settings below.

I did a test calendar post and a test blog post and only the blog post went to the news feed overnight. That’s my main problem now. Thank you. !

Hi Christopher – so just to confirm the only problem at this point is you can’t get events to display in the main blog loop?

Barry, That seems to be the case, yes. After I reverted to twenty-twelve I noticed the enhanced search box plug-in seemed to cause problems so I’ve deleted that, and yes, event posts aren’t showing up in the newsfeed yet. Any thoughts? THanks

And you have definitely enabled the include events in main blog loop setting? If so what I’d recommend is waiting until the next maintenance release – due in the next week or so – arrives, as it incorporates a number of fixes relating to that very setting.

Yes, I do remember seeing that that was checked. I will uncheck it and check it again, which I did a day or two ago.

Sure – just let us know (and do try out 3.2 which packed in a load of fixes that may help here).

I updated to 3.2 and my events are still not going to the newsfeed. … do you have any idea at all why this might be happening??? I have hundreds of subscribers who really like to see their events on the newsfeed. Can I pay you extra or something to go in and look at my site and try to figure it out?

Christopher: I think we might have had something of a misunderstanding here. By “newsfeed” are you referring to the RSS feed? If so, that is unaffected by the include events in main blog loop setting.
