Craig
MemberUpdated EC to 2.0.8 and got the message to update ECP as follows..
(The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar Pro. Please update now. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Want to pair an older version?) Sure, I can do that..
I clicked the “update Now” link and nothing. So I gave PRO the specific instruction to update from the drop-down in plugin admin then got this message…
(An error occurred while updating The Events Calendar PRO: The plugin is at the latest version..) Noooooooooooo. The version I have is 2.0.7. I tried deleting the licence key and refreshing then replacing the licence key but no go.
I have not updated ECC yet. I’m on twentyten but don’t have any real content on the site yet as I have been holding off on doing anything until these small bugs were worked out. Let me know if there is anything you need from me to clarify the problem.🙂 Craig.

MemberHi Craig,
Does the plugin not work, or is your site down? Or are you saying you are currently sitting at 2.0.7 and just couldn’t manage to do an automatic plugin update through the WordPress dashboard?
I tried this and got the same error, so I am definitely seeing what you see. I can submit this is as a bug but I want to make sure your site is functioning properly.
Did you click on the “Want to pair an older version” link?
Can you please always link to your site when submitting support requests like these?

MemberUpdate: All is working well. I left it for a couple of hours and gave it another go. All worked well with the automatic update. I would like to confirm the the router page problem is solved as well. Though I suspect that you already know about that. Congrats on solving that one. I know that it has been a thorn in your side for a while.
Mark as resolved.

ParticipantI have had this same experience today. Hopefully I can also try again in a few hours and have updating success.

ParticipantI’m still having trouble with this. I waited a few hours as the person above, logged out and back in, selected the plugin and “update” and ran it. Then I get a red box that says “An error occurred while updating The Events Calendar PRO: The plugin is at the latest version.”. But the plugin still says 2.7 and I see a red box in my admin telling me to update.
I am running multisite with the calendar plugins activated individually on some sites.

ParticipantThis is the error message I’m getting on my plugin page:
“The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar Pro. Please update now. All add-ons contain dependencies on The Events Calendar and will not function properly unless paired with the right version. Want to pair an older version?”

ParticipantHi Krysia,
Can you try clicking through Dashboard > Updates and then clicking the Check Again button at the top?
Thanks,

ParticipantHey — when I tried running the update from the multisite plugin index page again I encountered the same problem. I just tried the “Check Again” button as you suggested and got this message:
Plugins
Your plugins are all up to date.As a short-term measure, should I just replace the plugin files on the server? Thanks for your assistance.

ParticipantHi Krysia,
That is strange. Well, it sounds like there might still be problems with the auto update. Yes, as an alternative you can to a manual update just by replacing the plugin files on the server. Let me know if you have any issues with that. Make sure to take normal care in updating 🙂
Thanks,

ParticipantStrange, I think I’m having the same problem, I don’t get any “update”-link under ECP in the plugins list, just an annoying message on top of the page that I need to update ECP to 2.0.8 because I updated TEC :/
However – I moved the site (and the licence) from my server/domain, to the customers testing server/domain earlier today, could that be related?

ParticipantHey Torstein, it could be related and I’ll make a note of this. For now though, please manually update.
Thanks,
