    Its on every event edit page.
    The option is in the right column called: “Event Options.”
    Then it appears as a checkbox called: “Hide From Upcoming Events List”

    Anthony: thanks for confirming. That option isn’t meant for the widget; it is the upcoming events list (the option you can switch to from calendar as your default events view).
