    2. I can deactivate and delete Eventscalendar and Eventscalendar Pro and reinstall WITHOUT loosing my database-entries or changes I made using my themes child-theme-folder?

    Is this right?

    You can find The Events Calendar here:

    The Events Calendar

    And you can find the The Events Calendar PRO here on this site by logging in and heading to My Account > Downloads.

    Yes, you can. As with anything, I would also suggest backing up your files and database in the process.
