The issues reported below are ones we’ve identified as significant, high-priority issues that we are currently investigating. Please note that this is not a complete list of every single known issue.

With WPML, the ‘View all’ URL of a recurring event points to the wrong event occurrence

Description: When using WMPL and you create a recurring event, then the “View All” link will  points to the URL of the current event.

In month view the Category title does not appear on next month until page is refreshed

Status: In Progress

Description: In month view on a category page, the title will initially display as “Events for Month 2018 > Category”. Clicking to the previous / next month, the title changes to “Events for Month 2018”. Refreshing the page adds the category back to the title.

Attendee records not showing up / disappearing in the back-end

Stauts: In Progress

Description: In some cases the attendees page in the back-end  is not showing any attendees. This usually happens after upgrading from ET 4.6.x to 4.7.x for previously existing events.

Possible Workaround: Copy this snippet into your (child) theme’s functions.php file:

Eventbrite Tickets import: Event description is imported in plain text

Description: When importing an event from eventbrite.com, any HTML or images in the description are stripped.

Filter Bar: Filters where the value contains a space don’t work

Description: If one of the options in a custom field contains a space, then Filter Bar does not return any results when choosing that option.

If an RSVP has attendees already, then changing the capacity of it does not increase availability

Status: RSVP – Fixed 6.20.2018; EDD – Fix Arriving Soon

Description: Once an RSVP has been “sold”, then changing the capacity of it will not adjust the available number of RSVPs / tickets.

A similar glitch happens when using EDD.

Filters where the value contains a space don’t work when selected in Filter Bar

Description: If one of the options in a custom field contains a space, then Filter Bar does not return any results when choosing that option.

Daylight Saving Time Issues with Recurring Events

Description: Daylight Saving Time can confuse the best of us. If your recurring events appear to be offset by an hour and you’re note sure why, check out these knowledgebase articles to learn how your events may have been affected.

We are also aware of glitches that can happen when the Series Engine plugin is active. If you are using this plugin, please note that they have settings you can take advantage of to resolve this problem.

Community Tickets > Adaptive (‘split’) payments has been deprecated by PayPal

Status: On Hold

Description: Adapative payments and NVP / SOAP apps more generally have been sunsetted by

PayPal, seffective as of 01 December 2017.

Split payments should still work for existing users, but new users will not be able to take advantage of this feature for the time being. We are looking into different options to replace adaptive payments in our Community Tickets plugin.

Eventbrite Tickets imports

Description: Some users of Eventbrite Tickets are finding it is not possible to import from Eventbrite. We understand this is highly inconvenient and are prioritizing a fix: in the meantime, please reach out to the support team for assistance – they’ll be happy to help you workaround this.

iCal Imports

Description: In some cases, descriptions are not being imported from iCal/ICS sources. We are working on solution as quickly as we can (see also our Event Aggregator Status page).

Navigation on Month view is broken when using a date format with periods (.)

Status: Fixed 6.20.2018

Description: In Month View, if the Datepicker format is set to YYYY.MM.DD, MM.DD.YYYY, or DD.MM.YYYY, clicking next or previous month links will not work.

Workaround: Until the fix arrives choose a datepicker format with a different delimiter than the period. The setting can be found under Events > Settings > Display  tab > Date Format Settings section > Datepicker Date Format.

Tickets don’t show up after creating them

Status: Fixed 6.20.2018

Description: This issue happens usually when Redis cache is enabled. This applies to RSVPs, WooCommerce tickets and may also apply to Tribe Commerce and EDD as well.

The issue also applies to WP Engine having Object Cache enabled. Workaround: Navigate to WP Admin > WP Engine > General Settings > and click Purge All Caches.
