You should. It is always best for you, the site owner, to have access to your account here on theeventscalendar.com. That’s how you access downloads, license keys, subscription details, billing information, and support.
We recommend purchasing a subscription under your own name and giving your developer the license key for the site. This way, you’ll retain control of your own account for managing billing information and accessing support services, and you won’t lose access to your subscriptions should you decide to switch developers.
Please also note that you cannot change your account’s username. If your developer purchases a subscription and makes an account under their name, that is the name you will have to stick with.
