Yes, WordPress is using “New York” as the timezone (see first screenshot attached)

The timezone settings inside the plugin actually do not appear to “stick” whenever I try to set them. There used to be a button on the page, which I don’t recall exactly what it said but I believe was a prompt to apply the sitewide settings to all existing events. Now I have a dropdown and a checkbox for “Timezone mode” and “show timezone” and any time I try to change these values, they default back to “use local timezones” and a status of “unchecked”. (see second screenshot)

And to confirm, I’m using the most recent version of both plugins (see third screenshot)
