MemberSeems like we’re going around in circles. As I am not a developer, those instructions are beyond my skill level. Thus, per your suggestion, I posted the request here for custom widget help needed. Rob suggested you could help me, perhaps unaware of our previous exchange.
In other calendar tools I’ve used, the widget was a basic set-up, using something like
[li]

[br /]

echo ‘to’

[/li]
or such… I don’t know PHP, but it was something like that. What I would love to know is where that code exists in ECPro, and I can just swap the order of the title and the time. But I don’t have the skills to use the register widgets or rewrite PHP to the extent that page requires.

MemberI also need to know how to make this page, Upcoming Events, have as a title “Upcoming Events” or “Calendar of Events” rather than the name of the first event on the calendar (now the title appears to be Winter Break).

MemberSorry.. the Event Calendar Pro.

MemberThanks, Jonah. I would just like to swap the Event title to the first line and the date/time to the second.

MemberHi Rob — yes, Jonah pointed that out to me. I’m not a developer however, so those instructions are a bit beyond my skill set. I just need to swap the Event title to the first line and the date/time to the second. This is usually something can be easily done in a php file in almost every other plugin I’ve used. I have to say, for a paid product, ECPro is a very difficult plugin to customize for a customers’ needs.

Memberhmm.. okay, do you think someone in the community would be willing to help me with the coding? Basically, I would prefer the title of the event to appear on the first line and the date on the second.
Hopefully this is simple enough. I just need to know what code to take out and where, and what code to insert and where.
Thanks,
TonyTony Fleming
MemberThanks, Jonah. That’s a bit beyond my coding skills. Is there not some file where I can just re-order the code that calls the date and the code that call the title?

MemberHi Jonah — I didn’t. I don’t know how it resolved itself. It apparently did have something to do with that line of code however, as I looked at it and there is now something behind the post- and there are classes included.
The margins still seem a bit tight compared to my other pages. Any suggestions on how to fix that?
