    Josh,

Thank you for the response. The Filter Bar Plugin, while awesome, will not work for what I am trying to do.

I want to list (not calendar view) all of the events within a specific category and tag, regardless of if the event is in the past or the future.

For example, I want to use something like this code that is posted on your website:
    [tribe_event_list tags=”#1024, #2048, featured” category=”tickets-available”] – but I want to add a date range from 01/01/15 to 12/31/15.

I just updated to 3.10, and now NONE of the shortcode is working (no calendar, no listing, nothing). I am using Events Calendar Pro as a major part of my site, and it is all broken now.

I have no idea what to do.

    Brian,

I understand. Thank you for all of your help.

Since you said it is possible, I will keep digging around and looking for places I can add target=”blank” to the code. Hopefully I’ll get lucky. 🙂

    Brian,

I tried to find the template file for the main events view and add target=”blank” but it did not work. I’m afraid I will mess something up if I keep going. This is Greek to me.

Which file controls the way links open on this view?

I really appreciate your help with this.

    Brian,

Thank you! The events in the [tribe_mini_calendar] list are now opening in a new window.

Is it possible to have the events listed on the regular calendar (domain/events/) also open in a new window?

    Brian,

Thank you for the quick response!

I can’t find a “tribe-events” folder in my theme folder. I did a search and still did not find the folder.

I am using the Jkreativ theme and I am building the site locally.

    Brian,

I am going to go with a different theme. I will post back here after I get it set up and let you know if I have the same problem.

Thank you again for all of your help. You guys are awesome for the work you do!

    Brian,

I apologize for the delay. I have been traveling.

It does not matter where I position the front page section that includes the [tribe_mini_calendar] code in it. Every section after it does not show up when the code is included.

I placed the code in the footer and it works without blanking out the rest of the footer, but there are a total of four footer sections in my theme, and the separate sections don’t seem to be affected by the [tribe_mini_calendar] shortcode. For example, the theme comes with a built in contact section that you can enable/disable. When enabled, it will appear as the last section before the footer, and displays even when the [tribe_mini_calendar] is in a section above it (although any sections between the [tribe_mini_calendar] code and the built in contact section will not show up).

I can place the [tribe_mini_calendar] code in the last section on the front page to prevent blocking out any succeeding sections, but I would like the option to be able to place the code anywhere on the front page.

    Thanks again for your help.

    Brian,

Thank you for such a quick response!

I have removed the shortcode from the site until we can (hopefully) figure out what’s causing it.

Here is a screen shot showing what happens when I use the code:
