Jonah — Did you happen to get a chance to look at this one. I can leave the site temporarily changed for a little while longer…but would like to revert to my temporary fix soon. If you won\’t have a chance to look at this today we can try again tomorrow if you\’re available. Thanks again for your help!
Jonah — I just temporarily changed the Display settings to “Tribe Events Styles” and “Default Template”. If you browse to http://learndaylite.com/courses-webinars/ you’ll see that the sidebar has been pushed down below the content. Thanks for your help!
Jonah — Thanks for the follow-up. My URL is http://learndaylite.com/courses-webinars/ – I’m currently using the “Tribe Events Styles” and “Default Events Template” to avoid the sidebar issue…but I can temporarily change to the “Default Page Template” whenever you’re ready to have a look (I just don’t want to leave it in this state for very long as it doesn’t look very professional).
Thanks for your response, Kyle. When you say a missing in the code…are you referring to something in Events Calendar 3 or the code for the theme? If it’s the latter I would have thought that this is something that would have surfaced in Events Calendar 2 — the theme is unchanged since I upgraded to Events Calendar 3.
Thanks for your response, Barry. I upgraded directly from 2.0.11 and didn’t use 3.0 before yesterday (i.e. I never installed the beta). And I don’t have any items in the Trash.
I experimented with this a bit – including creating a new event, putting it in the Trash and emptying the Trash…but the Drafts count still reads “3” even though there is currently only one draft.
Do you think this could indicate a database corruption of some sort? I’m a little nervous moving forward with Event Calendar 3.0 if this might be the case and may revert to my Events Calendar 2 backup if this can’t be resolved soon.
Thanks for your prompt reply, Barry. I purchased and installed WooTickets and WooCommerce and setup up the tax rate for the provinces in WooCommerce…and everything is working beautifully! A refreshing change from the convoluted and confusing method for doing this in Eventbrite…and this also means I won’t have to pay the Eventbrite fees for each registration.
