September 12, 2018 at 12:08 pm in reply to: formerly working ical url imports stopped working, now stuck in limbo #1619968Brianne ThoresonParticipanti looked at the description of the temp plugin you linked above, and see that an update (4.6.23) to the regular plugin came out today with the same “fix” in it. i installed the update to the regular plugin on my test site, changed the import type to “chron based”, and the imports are now working again.

I deleted any of the imports i had created and recreated this one from scratch: http://schoolinfoapp.brightarrow.com/ICal/Get/50. it’s still doing the same thing – it gets the preview just fine, but when the import is saved it just sits there with a spinning status wheel until it times out and gives the same error message as before. i’ll put the system status info in a private reply below.
August 13, 2018 at 11:43 am in reply to: formerly working ical url imports stopped working, now stuck in limbo #1596365Brianne ThoresonParticipantdeleting the transients was the first thing i tried. i also have deleted all of my imports, recreated one of them from scratch and the same thing is happening (though now it actually times out and gives the following error message: “Import failed: Unable to process this import – a breakage or conflict may have resulted in the import halting.”). i have also cloned the server on which this is running, turning it into test server where i deactivated every plugin except the events calendar and recreated an import from scratch – still the same error message as above persists.

Don’t worry, you can safely navigate away–the import will continue in the background.”

I already tried deleting all of the transients based on the recommendation in one of the other support threads and that didn’t fix anything. I’ll see if any of the other imports work and update this thread with my results shortly.
