Issue solved. I reloaded the database and all is good. Thanks again for you help!

Thanks Jonah – I will try re-migrating the database with the tool you suggested. Is there an option in there to “clear” the current database?

Hi Jonah – I believe this is happening only with transferred events. Migrated via PHPadmin and WordPress Import feature. Also used FTP to copy site content from old site to new site. I think some information might have been imported more than once? They show only once under events in the admin, but multiple times on the live site. They are all standalone events. I created a new “Test” event and it shows up fine (in May). So it seems that it is only the imported events that are being duplicated on the live site.

Just a note that duplicated entries are showing here: http://cahr-acrss.ca/events/

Rob… in my case I can’t use the before and after fields because the client who has to use the site does not know html. (as most end users do not)

I’ve been giving the tags a try.

shortcodes, shortcodes, then maybe you could add some shortcodes.

Seriously though one of the things that is really needed is to add html before and after the events.

You have “Add HTML before calendar” and “Add HTML after calendar” in the settings but for formatting purposes it would be more helpful to have something to display before or in my case after the event in the agenda view.

Also an option to disable the calendar or agenda view would be helpful.

It would be nice if you could add some formatted text using page controls before the calendar. Shortcodes would go a long way to being able to do this.

note… to get the events to display correctly I had to add an HR tag at the bottom of each event. I want to insert the hr tag into the template so it is done automatically.
