no, they’re not showing up in the events list in admin. no idea where SEOmoz is finding them, but google webmaster tools isn’t listing them as duplicate content for me (and i can’t get them to show up in google search results). webmaster tools will, however, fetch those urls – in fact it will fetch any url in the /events/yyyy-mm-dd format.

i guess this might not be a functional problem with the plugin – just something i’ll have to wade through in SEO analytics…?

    hi Rob,
i’m having a similar issue where Google Webmaster Tools is telling me 15 event URLs are not returning 404s but should be. the thing i’m noticing about mine is that all the URLs are for dates where i have no events scheduled. for example:
    http://realgoodssolar.com/events/2038-01-18/
    http://realgoodssolar.com/events/2012-10-14/

the 15 links in question are not coming from a tag cloud. they are coming from the calendar, which is odd because from the calendar view, you can’t even click into a day with no events scheduled.

how can i tell google not to crawl pages with no events scheduled?

    thanks,
    sean
