Thank you. I created my own post on this subject a few days ago. I’m going to copy this and respond to it under my own post. Nico Santos was helping me.

I have the same question! “My events from Events Calendar are being fed into a blog post. It shows up with the last event first vs. the more recent events building up to the last event. Is there a way to reverse the way it is currently?”

How do you usually recommend using this plugin as a category on a homepage? In the forums for The Events Calendar, I found the suggestion to use tags because of the fact that events using The Events Calendar plugin do not appear as a regular post in the dashboard. The categories I create using this plugin do not appear in my WP dashboard under categories either.

Also, the widget does not work with the theme, Newspaper, that I am using. When I add the events widget to the homepage, a large blank section appears without any events displaying. All other widgets work fine with this theme.

How does The Events Calendar suggest that we display events on a homepage? Is that feature no longer available?

    Hi Nico,

Thanks for helping! I set up the events section on the home page using tags with the Visual Composer plugin. The Visual Composer only offers to sort from Latest posts.

I am having the same issue. I am using tags to display events on my homepage but they are showing up with the most distant events first and the current events at the end. Please help!

I cannot find anything labeled “wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar…”. I tried looking for “wp-content” under Appearance>Editor and also under Plugins>Editor. I do not know where to find this html “<?php echo tribe_event_featured_image( $event_id, ‘full’, false ); ?>”. Line 58, where? There is no folder labeled “wp-content” under my Editor.

    Thank you for your help.

I did not have the latest version of Community Calendar. Everything is working great now! Thanks for this awesome plugin.

I figured out the problem. The updates from my plugin panel were not updating the community calendar. I needed to delete the plugin, manually download it from my account, and reinstall it.

I am having the same problem. The link to community add is no longer working since the WP update.
