Hey Jennifer,

Thanks for the advice, I’ve read through those articles you’ve mentioned
before posting but unfortunately they’re not able to fix the issues we’re
experiencing.

The events are all individual rather than recurring, the WPEngine guys
looked into it all for me and they say it’s because each event is making a
call to the database each time the page loads.

Is it possible to optimise that database call so that it only runs once and
builds an array of the events, or ideally cache the calendar page as static
HTML like I mentioned?

Also it sometimes gets a 502 error when loading as well (See attached).
