    I see i have to then use the other widget and it is now styled the same way. many thanks!

    Hi Brian,
    I tried to carry out the above so i could just have the list of events that appear under the calender without the actual calendar showing up, but it still remains. I replaced the whole list-widget.php and added the Custom CSS, via my theme options, but still remins the same. Any Ideas?
