ParticipantYes that seems to be the problem, the events are registering as posts and not pages in both the Default Page Template and the Default Events Template. Tried using both with the same result.
Maybe i made a mistake when trying to follow the instructions in the tutorial? Is it safe to replace the “events” folder and “includes” folder on my site with the files provided in the genesis-child download?

ParticipantI temporarily disabled the breadcrumbs until the problem is fixed, many people are checking the site and didn’t want to cause confusion. Are the breadcrumbs necessary? The issue was occurring on the individual events pages, not the the main calendar page.

Participantok thanks I will do that.
I have added the code above to my functions.php but doesn’t seem to have made any changes. Here you can see my code:

ParticipantNo that’s not a problem, I can uncheck when to use the breadcrumbs in the theme options. The issue is when I go to a single event and venue, it says “You are here: Home”. and it’s a link to the homepage (latinrecap.com)
New issue I just noticed:
The first event on the Event List shows an excerpt with a different font and size compared to the other events below it.
http://www.latinrecap.com/events/upcoming/How can I make them all the same so they match the first event on the list?

ParticipantYes, that solved the first issue!
Thanks Barry! -
