various versions on various sites. One example site is running 2.0.3.
My Google webmaster crawl is reporting 503 errors on urls like this: events/1801-03-12

Yup, that looks like it should work. As long as I can pass the category as a variable, that should do it. Thanks Jonah!

I can confirm that the issue still exists in 2.0.4. Let me know if I can be of any help or test anything out.

@Seth, thanks for the code. It looks like something is wonky with the foreach loop that calls events. It causes the list that returns to be the same event (first entry called in the loop). See here: http://www.gainbridges.com/. I tried to debug it but I’m not having much luck.

When you get a chance, can you take a peek and see where the error is? We all appreciate your effort!

Yup, I discovered that fix too — removing the ECPro widget does fix the functionality, but removing it is not a “fix.” Need it to work properly. 🙂

tried using the default permalinks — no change.
Again, if I remove the pro-version of the sidebar calendar widget, it works fine. So I’m thinking it has to do with that code.

disabled all plugins except EC, ECpro. No change.

You guys want FTP, wordpress admin access? I’m happy to let you check under the hood. email me and I’ll get you access.
Are you guys able to replicate this issue, or is it just me?

Hi Jonah,
Good question. I’m using the default page template. If I switch to the default events template, the calendar/list view works, but then again, there’s no sidebar calendar widget, so I don’t think it means too much.

I’m using a relatively clean version of twenty-eleven’s page template.

Also, I’m calling two additional jquery scripts in my header, but I disabled them, tried the calendar/list toggle again, it still doesn’t work, so its not that either.

correct. If I remove the widget or turn off EC pro plug-in, it works fine.

I was able to replicate this issue on live and a dev server, both which are slightly different platforms. So I ruled out it being a server issue.
