    Hi Josh, FYI

I had a look at the events in August and saw that one weekly recurring event had generated 334 pages (over 6000 entries) due to the last two dates somehow multiplying massively!! Resaving the event regenerated the recurrence and cleared the excess, this took over 24 hours. Not sure how this could have happened (there was a rogue entry in the bin which possibly disrupted the sequence), anyway the original problem is now solved.

    Cheers, Jeremy

That’s done Josh, but doesn’t seem to have made a difference. This is currently on shared hosting, so unfortunately can’t dial in any extra resources – is this link a particularly heavy drain?

    Hi Josh,

We’re not running a test version of the site so have now restored the link buttons for the Monthly views, you’ll see the calendar on the What’s On page.

    Running Firebug gives us
    “NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error – http://www.xxxxxx.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php”.

    Thoughts? Cheers, Jeremy

Hi Josh, I’m assuming our issue with the date format is the same as has just been reported to you.

Our client reported that recurring events weren’t working, so I’ve just tested a daily recurring event starting on 31 August and finishing on 1 September. The event displays properly on the start date, but highlighting the recurrence shows this incorrectly as 9 January! Dates in our datepicker display as dd/mm/yyyy, but the recurrence is looking to display in the calendar as mm/dd/yyyy. Tried again with 31 October which showed the recurrence as today’s date, presumably as 10/31/2015 doesn’t resolve in dd/mm/yyyy. Tried changing the datepicker format to mm/dd/yyyy to no avail. The ‘See all’ link gives us a 404.

    HTH, Jeremy
