Thanks for the reply. I did see that before I wrote but I was wondering if there might be something more akin to https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/make-links-event-go-straight-event-website/ where it was more or less replacing a link.

In other words, the link that takes the word “Photo” to the photo view would simply take the user to my grid instead?

Sorry to say this one didn’t seem to have any effect?

    Thanks,

Perfect! Just one more (hopefully) related issue. When I make that area white (the same color as the background) it makes it look like the main content isn’t aligned with the sidebar because the top of the container isn’t visible (since it blends into the background). Is there a way to change the padding (I think it’s the padding) at the top of the main description area so the main content and sidebar appear aligned?

    Thanks again.

Thanks, Geoff. I’m new to all of this but, from the Avada forums, I didn’t have the sense they would help with this kind of stuff. But I’ll give it a shot.

I do have one more question regarding single event styling, though. I needed to make a global change to the container background color in Avada for another page of the site I’m working and that setting apparently changed the background color of the single event main content area (the description), which I’d prefer to be white. I found some CSS in the forum to change the background color but it didn’t seem to work, I’m guessing because I’m using Avada. Would you be able to provide some CSS magic to change the main content area background color on the single event template?

    Thanks again.

Thanks, Geoff – the CSS changes for 2-5 worked great!

With respect to 1, I did read the Themer’s Guide but unfortunately don’t know enough CSS/ PHP to tackle a template override, though I did create a child theme and understand that aspect of it. I’m planning to learn CSS at least but, in the meantime, was hoping that TEC or someone might have already created the override code to return the “normal” template in Avada since I saw in the forums that a number of people have had this issue over the years. Switching style options or templates in TEC -> Settings -> Display unfortunately doesn’t have much effect. Just double-checking that no one has already completed that override?

    Thanks,

    Jeff
